Our proof of our genius hour project will be a receipt if we are able to buy the bar holder for the weight room. We will also take a picture of the weight room after it is organized and rearranged. Students will be using the weight room everyday and it will be nice having it all organized.

Simonton states that geniuses are created by good genes and good surroundings. He also says that geniuses consist of intelligence, enthusiasm, and endurance. The ways you can discover a genius are by IQ tests or by accidentally finding out. Still, geniuses are very hard to find. I have decent genes and good surroundings. I use my intelligence, and have enthusiasm for academics, and for my genius hour project.
Mr. Cowen had a good presentations. He made good eye contact, was loud and clear, and had plenty of pictures and examples. I will present to the class a bunch of pictures of our project, make sure they can understand me, and will make good eye contact with everyone. Mr. Cowen was calm and relaxed when he was presenting and that is important. It is also important to be an expert on your topic. To know what you are presenting
People think that people with higher IQs are smarter than everyone else. But the truth is, the person with the highest IQ hasn't made any contributions to science. Geniuses think different than most of us. They think productively, not re-productively like most people. They think "how many different ways can I figure this out?" They figure out a bunch of different ways that they can figure out a problem. They recognize common thinking problems and apply them. The genius hour project has us think of different ways to solve an issue of our choice.
What can be learned from failure? Failure can actually help you succeed in the future. It makes kids take more risks and pushes them to try harder to succeed in the future. In this article it talks about how students love to work on their "genius hour" projects and how it helps prepare them for life. Failure is an option in the "genius hour" projects because it is a learning opportunity for kids. It teaches kids to try harder next time and to figure out what went wrong when you failed. I believe that failure is a lesson that every kid should learn how to deal with because failure is a part of life. It will happen to everyone at some point in their lives.
First, we have to plan out the basics. We have to name the camp, figure out when we can do the camp, and what we want to do during the camp. To do this we have to research drills we can do and see if we can bring in some people to help us with the camp. We plan to try to get gym to have it in because it is getting a little too cold to have one outside. Then we have to get our camp out to the public. we will probably go to woodland and advertise it. put up flyers and talk to some kids about it.
